Toyota FT 86 Posted: 05 Apr 2010 10:01 PM PDT Toyota has pushed its brand’s enthusiast heritage with their FT 86 Sports car concept. Still in the works, this car is a two-door rear-driver, light weight, with a "racecar-like handling", and will be powered by a 2.0-liter boxer four-cylinder engine from Subaru. The name FT 86 was derived from the Toyota’s past and future models. FT is from FT-HS hybrid concept years ago while while the "86″ is from the AE-86, a small rear-drive, Corolla-based sports car, made famous by drifters. Expect 160-180 horsepower, for superior performance. This car is light for the design has been compacted, just 164 inches long, which is sub-Audi TT, but with a comparatively stretchy 101-inch wheelbase. There’s a big possibility also that Toyota will use aluminum in its construction. $TBA. Toyota FT 86 Toyota FT 86 Toyota FT 86 Share This |

Hyundai Equus iPad Manual Posted: 05 Apr 2010 06:31 PM PDT Indeed automobile manufacturers are doing the eco-friendly trend in so many ways from doing hybrid engines to cooling/heating system improvement of the car, but Hyundai have something different in mind. They have decided that their latest luxury sedan the Equus will go eco-friendly by replacing the old fashioned paper manuals with Apple’s latest device the iPad. Aside from the manual the iPad also allows users to make vehicle service appointments OTA. With a new ride and a fancy internet tablet it’s really a good offer to resist. Share This |
