Nissan Will Build New York City Taxi Posted: 03 May 2011 01:35 PM PDT According to reports today, the Taxi of Tomorrow project for New York City has finally been decided with Nissan winning the bid against Ford and Karsan Otomotive. A 10 year contract has been given by New York City’s Taxi and Limousine Commission to Nissan to produce the NV200 minivan based future taxi. It is expected that the new transport vehicles will arrive on early 2013. Share This
