If the Numero 9 is Citroën’s way of exploring the future, then they’re definitely headed in the right direction. Set to be revealed at the Beijing Auto Show, the car is absolutely sexy and should take your mind as far away from the company’s rally car domination. The Numero 9 is a low and wide shooting brake concept, powered by a plug-in hybrid that gives a 31-mile range on electric power alone. She must be giggling with joy now that Titanic is re-released in 3D. That’s because Zhao Yufei counts the James Cameron classic as her favorite movie. Forget the fact that the movie is about a tragedy, in terms of lives and loves lost. When she’s not busy crying over Jack and Rose, Miranda (Yufei’s English name) likes to sizzle up the car show scene. For sheer looks alone, you’d be hard-pressed to ignore the 1957 Ferrari 625 TRC Spider. When you hear it roar, then the story gets sweeter altogether. Only one of two ever built by the Italian maestros, this 625 TRC has been owned by a single owner from California and has been lovingly preserved that it’s actually ready to race as it is. Music comes from a 320 bhp Tipo 128 V12 engine with six Weber carbs. Dynamism and high energy – those are the attributes that you must project once you get onboard this Kahn-modified Range Rover. The widetrack body is coated in bright red paint, showing dominance no matter where you take this car. Red also translates to the interior, which contrast the stitching on the prime leather seats. Even the brake calipers are coated with heat-resistant paint of the same hue.
